    I went to the two meetings Corey and Jeff had at Walker Library then my computer was down for four weeks. I was unable to reach Corey so I contacted Nancy. I want to be an engaged citizen to improve the quality, accountability and diversity of the local media. The number of years I’ve lived makes me a Senior but I plan to enroll at Metro State in Communications in the fall. I became interested in Communications during the 2004 elections. Two years ago I took an Intro to Mass Communications class at North Hennepin. I attended the National Conference on Media Reform.

    I am interested in the network for local media monitoring. I conducted a content analysis of the Strib for my senior project in my undergrad, and it’s something I really enjoy doing. I’d be interested in participating in projects like that.

    Hello,
    I would like to continue receiving information about this.
    I attended the conference, am a recent graduate of the U of M, and a political organizer.
    I work with a group called Substance, which works to promote activism and unite progressives through music and the arts. http://www.livewithsubstance.org
    I also founded an interest group to promote various political goals, one being media reform, called New Politics.

    I’d love to discuss potential.
